No, but I did receive my package from Starmax, complete with film cuts. I honestly didn't think Starmax would replace those, but sure enough, the ones I specified in the email were replaced.

nope. i dont understand korean but their email responses are in english. they did not inform me about the replacement digipacks. was surprised to see them on the same package. the only problem i had with this UE is the movie disc (disc one) has slightly pauses on each chapter start. gotte email them.

anyhow, got my TROY wooden korean release from dvd.co.kr because some popular koreandvds store cancelled my pre-order/s. i find dvd.co.kr very reliable and my packages neatly packed. always.

from their last email , they told me they only have a handful of OLB BOY UE dvd sets left. royalwithcheese, sent you a message regarding the website english translation procedures.

Reggio - would it be possible to also have a copy of the translation procedures as there are several titles I would like to order from there too. Many thanks indeed for your help!

How are their prices for stuff? cheaper? shipping costs? If it's cheaper, I'll start ordering from them instead... I can deal with sites in other languages.

I am helping a buddy out with this, and he got the same email.

Excuse my language, but this is fucking unbelievable. Others already have received their new cases, and we still have to jump through hoops? Why the hell have we been dealing with YesAsia if they were only going to pass us off to Starmax? This is really pissing me off.

I agree - why the hell have yesasia being messing us all around when all they were going to do was to dierct us to Starmax. I've been trying to email Starmax all morning and my emails are not getting through.

I'm really pissed off with yesasia.

Does anyone know how to send the necessary info to Starmax?

Looks like were all in the same boat. I've emailed yesasia and informed them of the problem and asked them to assist.

Crap, I just received the same e-mail from YesAsia and I'm pissed... I agree with the above, why the heck are they asking us for all that information if they are ultimately going to have us deal with Starmax directly.

I had already sent the info Starmax had requested on Dec. 7th though and I just resent it again. My e-mail seemed to get through. Make sure the subject line reads as follows:

OLD BOY UE DIGIPAK EXCHANGE APPLICATION

I just got the email from YesAsia. I sent an email to Starmax a month ago, and have received a response from them. Those who have already received their digipacks from Starmax, could you give me a description of the package it came in, and does it come through standard USPS?? Im in FL and I wont get back till the 10th, which is the final deadline, and I dont want to send another email to Starmax if I already received them. Im gonna call home and see if I received it.

I've looked through both threads for a referrence to this, so if there is and I missed it, I apologize. I was looking around dddhouse.com today (looking for Stephen Chow films to pick up) and I came across this version of Old Boy, and I haven't heard anthing about it.

Edko Old Boy

I haven't seen Old Boy yet and it sounds interesting, and the price is right, but after getting the Edko HOFD, I'm more than a little leery. Anybody hear about the quality?

Hmmm, I also sent Starmax an e-mail a month ago but never got a reply from them. I sent them another one this morning as YesAsia suggested. I assume these e-mails are getting thru because they are not being bounced back to me. Did your e-mail have the subject title in english or in korean?

Just to let you know... I never received any confirmation from Starmax. You also need to have Korean Language Support installed on your machine (and preferably, a gmail account) in order for the email to reach them.

I don't have Korean Language Support on my machine. This PC was sent to me from work already loaded so I don't have any of the software. What's gmail?
