Anyone able to mod an LG LST3510A?
Videohelp indicates the hack for the LG 5000 series will work on the LST3510A, the combo OTA HD receiver and upconverting DVD player. No one has confirmed whether it works or not. Has anyone tried this? If so, could you post your experience either way. I just got one of these and would prefer not to fry the firmware; it would be great to replace one of my units instead of adding yet another piece of hardware (DirecTivo, DVD recorder, all region DVD player, universal DVD player, miniDV-SVHS combo, LD player, CD changer, receiver, and now HD/DVD combo; ugh!).

I've had this player for about a month and can't recommend it enough. I too was a little leery of trying the firmware hack, but figured what the hell and it works absolutely fine. Burned to a cd and changed the region to "0" I believe and everything was a go. You don't have to punch in any code or anything, just pop the disc in and it plays. I've tried Region 2, 3, and 4, both PAL and NTSC. It should work just fine...
