how come they don't have the trilogy boxset on their us/canadian sites, but they have it on the global yesasia site (which doesn't even ship to Canada or US specifically)? stupid idiots...phooey!!!

OFFER TO ANYBODY: Can anybody order a copy of this from one of the sites using their own credit card, and then i can pay them using paypal for the item? it would happen instantly, i just don't have a credit card, my paypal uses my bank account...if anybody is interested, please email me at [email protected] (preferably the cheapest site that ships to Canada, so far it looks like koreandvds.com is the cheapest). if anybody can help me, i'd totally owe them, and there would be no risk at all, you'd get the money as soon as you showed me the receipt that you ordered the dvd and sent it to my address.

I preordered this through layoyo.com but my order status says "waiting" and if you look up the set, the availability shows "to order 3 to 4 days" so I guess the waiting is on.

wow :) Angolz.com came through for me, its been shipped today! Its on speed post, so should arrive by the end of the week hopefully! I'll tell you all how it goes :D

HKFlix.com offers Paypal payment option... and as posted, it's $99.95 with FREE shipping. That's where I ordered mine and used Paypal as well. Some address concerns about their service, but by the same token... others have had no problems.

I ordered from HKFlix too but am starting to freak out now! I just read some terrible comments regarding their service :(
They don't even say when its suppossed to come out(still says PREORDER). But since today's the official release day, has anyone who ordered from HKFlix had theirs shipped yet?

Anyone ordered from YesAsia and had theirs shipped?...placed my order as soon as it was listed, but at the moment it is currently at the 'Searching from suppliers' status.

layoyo.com now has it for about $85 US. when i preordered it was $76, do you think that this change in price will have an effect on my preorder since my status is still "waiting"?

i'm about to order it from angolz.com...anybody have any horror stories about them? also, the guy who said they shipped his...how come it still says pre order on the site? did they give you a tracking number and everything?

First of all, angolz.com! Wow... I have never been sent anything this quick, was sent on the 6th, and it arrived today! did cost $47 for shipping, but damn its fast, and there is no damage to the packaging!

them pics, is it just the light or are they scratched and covered in fingermarks? or is it just the flash? :)

They are micro scratches, not sure why they have to be there :( but other they only show when used against the flash. If they used some plastic sticky thing to cover, it would probably be not like this. But what the hey, its great, and looks amazing on my shelf. My box number is #1660

Has anyone here ordered from HKFlix? if you did, then has it shipped yet? because I ordered from them but it still says "pre-order" on their site and has not yet shipped....plus with all the horror stories i've heard about them i'm geting kinda worried :(

I ordered from HKFlix also and have heard nothing. Since they are a US-based company, though, I expect that they won't be receiving or shipping their product until after the HK retailers do.

nice pix Brain_F15ting..did you use EMS for shipping? were you taxed? havent used EMS and im thinking it would save me more moneys should i use this shipping method for big sets like this...

Indeed, I used EMS speed post, it arrived in 2 days!, they have a tracking facility too, but Angolz are amazing with putting your stated value on box sets, this means that customs don't tax heavily! I love angolz.com for this :) if anymore hk box sets come out, I will not be using anywhere else!

I ordered my DVD set from HKFlix a few weeks ago. My credit card was charged about a week ago and according to their website they don't bill your credit card until the item has been shipped so hopefully it's on its way.

I was looking for the set at BestBuy and CircuitCity, but they only have the first movie (it is $29). Are those other movies not released in the USA yet (2 and 3)?

I would like to give the movie a try, but I don't know if I want to spend a hundred bucks on a blind buy.

Doogie - this is a region 3 set, you ain't gonna find it at Best Buy or Circuit City. Since it sounds like you are a newbie to foreign releases, chances you that even if you were to buy the set, your DVD player would not play it.
