Everyone who ordered the R3 version, check your order status page. I just did so just for the heck of it, and it actually says that it's been shipped to me. I can't wait to get this one in the mail.
Funny though, seeing how they still have it listed to be released on the 16th.

mine shipped!
* In the past couple of months, has anyone received unsealed items from CDwow?
My last four orders have included unsealed items. The discs were in mint condition, but I just thought it was unusual.

When I order from Amazon UK I generally get one to two items per shipment that are not sealed. Never thought anything about it as the discs were all mint as well.

Well, I got I, Robot in the mail today! It's in one of those clear type cases, with on insert, and is in a slipcover. From what I can tell the discs are packed, as we already knew. It looks and sounds great, and I'm loving all of the different animated menus.
I've also found a few easter eggs on disc 2. I figured that we'd have quite a few on this set, so I'm sure there are more than likely more. So far, here are the ones I've found while just looking through the menus.
*Go to the Day of Days: I, Robot Production Diaries screen, then go to Following Bread Crumbs, then keep pressing up and you'll highlight a "circuit" type thing. This one seems to be, well, a very short odd behind the scenes clip.
*Go to the Day of Days: I, Robot Production Diaries screen, then go to You Are Experiencing A Car Accident, then keep pressing up and you'll highlight a "circuit" type thing. This is one heck of an odd/weird gag deleted scene.
*Go to the Day of Days: I, Robot Production Diaries screen, then go to One on One, then keep pressing up and you'll highlight a "circuit" type thing. It looks to either be a gag sceen, or a deleted scene.
*Go to the Day of Days: I, Robot Production Diaries screen, then go to Will Smith's Wild Ride, then keep pressing up and you'll highlight a "circuit" type thing once again. It also looks to be some sort of very short deleted gag sceene.

By the way, what are some other deals like this? I'd love to pick up something else that is over on R3 that isn't on R1 yet, and might not ever be as such a cool set as this one.

Damn that is sweet. I just ordered the 2 discer from cd-wow a couple of hours ago. Damnit. This will probably be out of my price range anyway. Keep us posted on that.
BTW, just ordered my first region free player to go with the I, Robot R3 set. Went with the Momitsu. Can't wait to see the 1080i upconvert.
