OATIC boxed set?

Hi all,

I see on HiViZone that they're selling a boxed set of the first three Once Upon A Time in China films, re-mastered (according to another site, from Intercontinental Video). Has anyone seen these remastered versions, are they worth it, and are the DVDs region 3 or region 0?

Thanks in advance!

NB I'd also be interested in hearing about the company's boxed set of the three A Better Tomorrow films.

I have the ABT , John Woo and Bruce Lee box sets from the same company and they are top notch quality.

I have the OUATIC set and it's nice... the cardboard box housing the amaray cases is wrapped in silk. The DVD transfers are pretty nice though. I will have to check later so I can answer the rest of your questions. Alternatively, there has already been a discussion on this set if you use the search - you may have to set the date to 'any date' because it may have been more than 30 days since anyone has posted in that thread.

The Korean version will be no different from the Hong Kong version in quality, just the packaging will be different, which just features alternate art work.

How does it compare to the trilogy released by Hong Kong Legends?
