Chance of DTS on the following......?
Any word on if the following will have DTS audio in any region:
King Arthur
Troy
Aliens Vs. Predator
Shrek 2

dyerjp, that's a good site, but sometimes it gets a while for comparisons to get up. Besides, all the movies mentioned aren't even out yet. Troy is announced in early 2005 for R1, so I guess he'll have to be patien, though.
Troy's coming out in Korea in October, and the listing has no DTS track.
Alien vs. Predator is probably your best bet. I'll wager the price of the DVD it'll have a DTS track in Japan.

AvP is a Fox film, and Fox is pretty supportive of DTS, including on the Alien Quadrilogy set. I think odds are good that the R1 release will have DTS and you won't have to go looking for something foreign.

Even if you did find a locality that had Shrek 2 in DTS, it's worth pointing out that some aspects of the movie might have changed.
For example, in the UK they have replaced the Larry King character with our very own Jonathan Ross, to name but one change.

Although King Arthur doesn't have DTS announced on the specs list that doesn't mean it will not come.
With Pirates Of The Caribbean there also was no announcement for DTS on the pressrelease but finally disney put it on there.
Jerry Bruckheimer is a supporter of DTS and I think you will find that DTS is present on the region 1 dvd of King Arthur.
As for Shrek 2 well in my opinion that movie will not benefit much with a DTS track.
Troy is Warner and we all know how they feel about DTS.
