International DVD's at SD Comic Con?

Do they sell international (ie non-Region 1) DVD's at the Comic Con? I was just about to order the HKL Chinese Ghost Story and the Celestial 36th Chamber of Shaolin but thought I might be able to find these for sales at Comic Con.

Yes. There will be quite a few dealers selling both bootleg and legitimate non-region 1 DVDs at the convention. The number of dealers seems to increase every year.

Yes...the people from Sing Young (located in SD as well) will be there. They usually have a pretty good selection of real Region 3 dvds and bootlegs of Region 2 as well as a lot of HK releases.

I just got the Silmido LE and Little Bride from them yesterday. Reasonably priced.

But be carefull. Some of the companies are going around and giving fines and cease and decist orders to people at cons lately.

Yes and they are very expensive (well the good ones are). Many of them can be bought off the 'net for half of what they were selling.

God, I remember that too! I think I still have a S-VHS dub of Drunken Master II laserdisc that I rented at sing young.

There were several boths selling DVD's there. I bought Celestial's 36th Chamber of Shaolin and The Five Venoms from Drunkenmaster.tv booth. There were overpriced but I got them to watch them immediately. Animego was there too and I considered getting the Lone Wolf and Cub box set but it was too steep at $140. I can definitely get it for cheaper online although they were giving away a cool T-Shirt and poster along with the box set.

I didn't see too many others and the ones I saw were definitely selling bootlegs.
