I think the R3 is the same as the R1 10th Anniversary Edition except that it also has Korean sub/dub included as well. Oh yeah and the packaging is more elaborate on the R3 with some extra goodies like lobby cards and such. I already have the R1 so I think I'll hold off on this version even though it's one of my favorite animes.
