Just wondering if the extras on the 2nd disc are subtitled. thanks!

The interviews do have English subs. The behind the scenes footage doesn't but that material is mostly visual anyway, so they aren't really missed.

The Dutch set is really nice, with cool packaging and a lot of good extras. The only thing missing that some other versions have is a commentary track (the UK disc has one but the film is cut).

Yep, the UK 2 Disc set is cut by 3 minutes. I actually bought that one originally (to replace the miserable HK release). I just recently bought the dutch set to go along with the UK release.

I picked it up at xploitedcinema, along with 'The Hitcher' for another $20. Their price seemed about the same as overseas shops. It was my first time dealing with xploited, and they were fantastic. It shipped in less than a day and I recieved them in a couple days.

The Dutch SE is excellent. I would suggest picking it up on ebay from Xploited, since you can likely get it for about $5-$6 less through auction.

I got mine from HKFlix. I can't remember how much I paid for it but it was probably around the same price that Xploited has it for. They also sent me a little promo cardboard Ichi cigarette box to go along with it. A cool little extra, but I think that was a limited thing.

$40 from Hkflix is NOT a good price. Being patient, one can get a copy for at least $12-$15 less than that. Though I must say, i've never seen this DVD sell for less than $25 shipped.

Well, it certainly wasn't $40.00 when I bought it (I remember deciding between them and Xploited and there wasn't that much of a difference in price at the time). They must have raised the price. I think $40 is too high as well.

I know, was just wondering why all their prices are so high. Not only for Ichi, but for the majority of their DVDs.

yea I don't think I will get it through HKFlix, 40+ shipping is a little much. I might either just order it off of xploited cinema, or wait it out and find someone on ebay with it (preferrably a US seller)

I vaguely remember pre-ordering this from xploited for $21.00 shipped a couple of years ago.
