High Quality "Native-format" Player?
I just ordered the R2 and R3 Kill Bill DVDs, so I am now searching for a multi-zone DVD player.
My projector (Panasonic AE300) can handle both NTSC and PAL formats, therefore my preference is to buy a DVD player that does NOT convert, but outputs in the DVDs native format.
My biggest criteria is picture quality, and all 3 of the DVD players I have borrowed so far has the build-in PAL <-> NTSC conversion, and there is noticeable picture degradation, even if I choose to not convert. While they all looked good on a 27" TV, the degradations are apparent on a projector.
Can someone recommend a multi-zone DVD player that has excellent picture quality, handles NTSC and PAL DVDs, and preferably can be purchased in Canada (or U.S.).
Thanks.
