Two New Superbits To Be Released (Japan)

The Messenger: The Joan Of Arc Story & Erin Brockovich will be released in May in Japan. For those interested, Amazon Japan has them both listed for pre-order at a price of $35 each (before shipping) Links are below as are their pictures.

Joan of Arc

Erin Brockovich

This is on top of the already posted Adventures Of Baron Munghausen which is also up for pre-order at the same price (3760 YEN).

Thanks to Craig for the Erin Brockovich info!

I'm looking forward to picking up Joan of Arc but Erin will be a pass.

Another Superbit title has just been announced. No pictures as of yet but it is THE DEVIL'S OWN Superbit to be release 6/24/04.

Personally, this was one boring movie and an upgrade to a Superbit isn't going to help it any.

Also, Superbit prices have been raised in Japan from 4700YEN to 4935 YEN on both HMV and Amazon Japan. CDJapan is still listing their Superbits at 4700.

As a huge Harrison Ford fan that's one that's hard to pass up. I give the film a little more credit than most considering how difficult it was to make and the stories I've heard from people who worked on it.

But damn...whoever chooses these films has some really weird taste.

Those are two titles I would never think i'd see released on the SB line. Not sure about EB, but Joan got some good specs with regards to av quality. Oh well... it's all about the $$$ I suppose...

Another new Superbit has been announced in Japan and it's The Devil's Own.
It's released in June.

Has anyone gotten the Baron Munchausen SB yet? Just wondering how the quality is.
