Before the Revolution(R2)
Just got the PRIMA DELLA RIVOLUZIONE Italian R2 2-disc dvd.
It is a newly restored version. 16/9 and DD5.1, DD1.0.
Disc 2 contains tons of interviews: Bertolucci, Vittorio Storaro....
Both discs come with eng subs except the trailer.
A great buy.

I have been thinking about ordering this disc and La Terra Trema both released by the same company. Criterion has pretty much confirmed a release of Before the Revolution but who knows when it will ever be released.

Ripley did their own restoration and funded everything via Cinecitta. Any other version out there is either a second-grade copy or a boot of what RHV did.
With this in mind I really think that you should spend the 27$ Xploited is asking for it. This is a marvelous transfer that I don't think Criterion can better, nor they could surpass the extras:
