Kill Bill Region 3?

Has anybody heard anything on the region 3 release of Kill Bill vol. 1? I heard it is still supposed to come out at the end of the month but I can't find any places that have it up for pre-order.

Well, the R1 DVD release date got pushed back, so it's likely other regions might have been affected as well.

Neither of those links mention a release date for the region 3 version. I already knew that the region 1 and 2 were delayed which is why i was interested in the region 3 especially if it includes the color fight scene and the extended anime sequence.

R3 is a region that covers more than one country, so there most likely will be multiple R3 releases, possibly with various cuts.

The "Japanese" or Asian cut of the film did have the House of Blue Leaves scene entirely in color, but I never heard of the anime scene being longer. AFAIK, the anime sequence was exaclty the same in both cuts.

By the way, Kill Bill was cut by a few second in Korea. I'm guessing the DVD'll be the same. Just for you purists out there (like myself). In any case, the theatrical cut was 111 minutes, which is still longer than the US cut.

The anime sequence had a bit more violence in the Japanese version. Most noticably, after O-ren kills the yakuza boss, there is a clear shot of his split open torso and intestines.
