absolutely one the great films of the past few years that deserves a great release but I think I may stick with my all region edition for now that has a fairly good transfer for a Dogma film.

Hmmm. It's the liklihood of a r1 release I'm looking at... granted, multiregion stuff is good, but I'm not planning to pay $25 to import something I can eventually get for ten...

Excellent news!
That's the 10 November -we in Europe write our dates correctly
This has been on Region 2 for years but no English subtitled version.
The distributor is Bluelight who I know very little about (they distributed the cut DVD Romance and are releasing Ma vie en rose).
And since this is part of Dogme 95 we don't want anamorphic, please!

yep....me....I believe that it is very nice. Though it is hard to apply all the "standard" dvd qualities we consider when looking at a release as this is, as I am sure you know, part of the Dogme films....and "quality", camera work, etc....are quite different.
All things considered you should be pretty happy if you pick it up.

The UK disc is faulty. It has more pop on the soundtrack than MTV.
I've tried two discs and the problem is evident in both.
For testing go to the start of the German borther-in-law's speech. That sticks out a bit but as I said the problem is throughout the disc.
Apart from that there's some thought went into the production of the disc.
Just a pity they didn't test it.
