Which ones? A lot of R3 DVDs are pretty much straight ports of the R1 DVDs, but with added subtitles and a region change.

well, if they're pretty much ports I can deal with that..

the ones i'm looking at [right now] are the Black Hawk Down Superbit, Conan the Destroyer & Predator. but I really wouldn't want to start a thread for each DVD that i'm interested in...

For Predator, I assume you want the SE DVD. I got the R3 SE DVD of Predator myself. Basically, it's the same as the UK R2 or Austrailian R4 SEs, but in NTSC and with different subtitle options. All the menus and extras are the same, even the easter eggs are the same. If you want a review, just search for a review of the R2 or R4 SEs.

Beside the Basen site, have a go at dvdtimes.com. There are some reviews there e.g Malena R3 Uncut ..yummy !

Actually, many Korean DVDs are replicas of the British releases. That may have to do with the similar rating systems the two nations have.
