International users DVDPROFILER question
I was wondering how does one proceed to upload a title that is not currently in the dvdprofiler data base.
I would like to add this dvd:
http://www.amazon.fr/exec/obidos/ASI...351780-4168143
however I have no idea how to do it....
any assistance.....thank's!

1. Add the title (via UPC code, but use all the digits) as you
would any R1 disc.
2. When it doesn't recognize the UPC, a small popup window will
appear asking if this is the correct UPC.
3. Select yes, and then it'll ask you to put in the UPC again (for
non-R1 discs this is usually all of the numbers), the disc title,
the region and the locality.
4. Then you will be able to edit all of the other details of the disc
from the normal page. (You may have to select the DVD and
then choose "DVD->Edit" from the menu.)
5. Once you enter all of the details (including cover scans) then
you click "save".
6. Once you save the changes it should prompt you to see if you
want to upload the data to DVDProfiler.
7. Select yes and it should send it.
If it doesn't prompt you to contribute, then select
Online->Contribute DVD Profile from the menu.
Hope this helps.

Don't include the first little digit--only the last 12. Also, if you don't own the disc, European UPCs can be very difficult to find on the web (especially French DVDs)--most French etailers simply don't list them.
If anyone is aware of a database for non-R1 releases which includes the UPC numbers (like the BIG DVD List does for R1), please let me know.

Bill, I tried adding up the title I mentioned above..and after 4 times...no luck at all!!
Have no idea why the system rejects the title....I am sure it is me and not the PROFILER!!
If you have time and are willing to help...could you add it up....thank's.

Yeah, send me the UPC and I will be sure to add it for ya! If it is 512391-905170 then no need. I found the title on profiler. I already have the IMDB info!

Bill,
YOU are 100% correct!! This is the film (the upc code though is incorrect, it is for a different movie).
AS ALWAYS...thank you for ALL your assistance!
ps
I still dont know why the system cuts me off everytime I try to add a new dvd, it only says..."invalid title".....which is so weird as it happens only on my French films!! Go figure!!

Your edit tells me you couldn't get it to work. I went ahead and found the upc (I believe and am adding it now).
Edit: If you look in my profiler link at the wish list, I have it located there. Of course, will be a few days before profiler accepts it and uploads all the infomation. Once it is uploaded completely by profiler, feel free to make any changes to the info that I have done incorrectly.
