Waaay back when the R1 and R2 release dates where announced, I made a rational decision to wait until there was more info on the special features for the R2 available before I decided which one to buy. I was prepared to wait until November for the R2 if the features were going to be better.

However now the R1 has been released I'm getting kinda twitchy and still no info on the R2 features. The R1 is dead cheap at Play.com (£11.99) and it could be months before I get any info on the R2. Should I buy the R1 now and just hope that the features aren't better on the R2. Does anyone think that there's a realistic chance that the R2 features WILL be better? I'd hate to have bought the R1 Fargo and then seen the R2 Special Edition come out!

I was asking myself the same question. The "continent" got its edition last week. I do not get why the UK has to wait an extra 6 months. I do not think that we will get a much different edition from the German, Italian, French, Whatever R2
It looks like the current R2 got an extra featurette compared to the R1

Thanks, Butch - I didn't know about the continental R2 version. That does seem to point to the UK R2 features being similar so, sod it - I'm going to order the R1 today!
