Which of these R3 discs are anamorphic?

I was planning to order some region 3 discs from Hong Kong. I'm having trouble telling which of these titles are anamorphic:

Dark Water
Hero
Infernal Affairs
Returner

I tried a search to limited success. Can anyone help?

All 4

All 4 should be 16x9 enhanced. With Hero, be sure to pick up the Edko edition, as there are HK stores that were also carrying the Mainland releases. It's worth noting that the Korean release of Infernal Affairs is of a higher standard, proper film source/progressive flags unlike the HK release.

And I had just bought the HK Infernal Affairs from CDWOW.

Suck.

Furious, thanks for the info.

Is it just the flagging that is wrong on the HK release? I don't use a flag-reading DVD player, so that doesn't matter much to me. Is the transfer otherwise different?

As far as I know, the HK release of Infernal Affair is 1:85:1 while Korean version is 2:35:1 which is the film's OAR.

As a side note, the Korean version comes with a film cell which is pretty neat.

My Hong Kong disc is most definitely 2.35:1. Just checked.

Oh well, can't complain. Looks fab on my 20-inch Tosh...

Infernal Affairs HK is definitely 2.35:1 anamorphic and has a real nice transfer.

Note that Dark Water is marked on the back cover as DTS 6.1 but is actually just DTS 5.1

To all who reccomended Infernal Affairs:

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I watched it and noticed no problems with my HK DVD. Perhaps the problematic discs were a first pressing? Or is it only present with more advanced hardware?
