Junk - German vs. NTSC All Region (US?)

I got the latest Poker Industries mailing today and I am wondering which release is better of Junk?

The German:
http://www.pokerindustries.com/poker...VD&showdetails

which says it is uncut.

or the NTSC All Region US release:
http://www.pokerindustries.com/poker...=JUNKUNEAR-DVD

Seems to be the same length, so I am guessing it is uncut. The extras on the all region are not enough to make me sway to that release. Anyone own the German release, how is the picture quality?

I did a search and had no luck on finding the info I wanted. If there is a thread direct me there please.

Thanks

Ugh. I've been debating a region free player for a while now. I had pretty much come to the conclusion that I was going to pass on it for now and simply buy region 0 and region 1 titles of Asian movies I've wanted to see/own. Junk is one of them...

I don't currently have a widescreen set (27" 4:3), so anamorphic isn't too much of a concern right now, but for the future (maybe literally two years) it is... *sigh* Guess I'll just pick up the US release. I can always buy it again if I like it enough.

Dude you don't get it after all that has been said by Region owners. Some of the region 2 or 4 movies will never debut in R1. Check to see if you can find a title called "The Unholy or Raise The Titanic in R1. There are none in R1, I have had my DVD region free for almost 2 years.

JVC XVS500BK with x, y, scaling on PAL discs, without having to buy a Malata and the cooling problems they have. I use to own a 27 inch when they where popluar, now I view all regions on my RCA F38310 line doubled Wide Screen HDTV. BTW I own 122 titles in R2 & R4 English speaking countries.

Any serious hobby will cost you $, I am disabled for 18 years and I have quite a set up, in fact I am writing this post on my HDTV from 5 feet away. Good Luck on developing a serious hobby like DVD all regions. View on a HDTV 19 9/16 inches high and 34.4 inches wide in screen measurments. I paid $2999 for it on May 1, delivered May 2, 2001.

P.S. I would do it all over, I wouldn't change a thing it's my 'hobby' seriously.
