Hi, i bought the "Spider-man" code 1 DVD disc & i can't play it on my Sony DVD player model DVP-S745D.
I can play all region DVD discs on this player except this one with the RCE coding.
Is there anyone out there who owns the same player & can play this disc (with the RCE coding)? If yes, pls let me know how u hack the player.

All region disks?, this usally means that the disk is open to all regions so I would expect it to play in your player.

for a region free hack you could try www.vcdhelp.com, i don't know if they have one but its a good place to try. But be careful tho some hacks can screw up your player, so you have to decide if its worth the risk or not, when you can get very good region free players for £65.

Smif, if you can access a menu to change the regions on the player that should be all you need to do. Instead of having it set to ALL set it to R1. RCE blocks R1 discs from being played on region free players. By setting the player to R1, RCE won't be bothered.
