HERO Region 3 finally is out
Just got and saw the 2 disc set from HK from Edko, great picture and sound, clear subtitles and some really great supplementals, especially for a movie that was in theatres not that long ago. Movie meanders a bit to me but some of the fighting and effects are awesome, some of the best arrow shots in a long time and the color schemes are to die for in the retellings of Nameless' story.

Are all the supplements subtitled as well? Also are there subtitles at the very beginning and very end of the film? What do the beginning subtitles start off as? Thanks...

Someone has posted translations of the opening and closing text before:

It would be nice if the HK DVD had this text subtitled.

The opening and closing texts are subttiled, alas, the features are not although some supplements like some of the star's movie lists have english text and the color scheme interviews are in english because the cinematographer speaks it.

That's a step up from the Mainland release at least. The cinematographer was dubbed in the making of on the Chinese DVD-5. It's the subtitles on the film that are the most important though, and it's good to know that the HK disc has complete subs.
Hannibal, sorry about not noticing you were the poster of the translated text. I found it to be very helpful when I watched the film yesterday, and I wanted to post the link since the thread is a little buried now.

Here's a link for the Easter Eggs:

Here's the gist of it:

Here's the gist of it:
on disc two, press "5" on the main menu and then "play," and you can access a hidden menu.
And on the "making of" main menu, hit enter on the "hero" in the middle.
