. . . El Bulto . . .

. . . Like Water For Chocolate . . .

. . . Todo el poder . . .

. . . Sexo, pudor y lágrimas . . .
(...there is a Spanish DVD, but it does not have English subs)

...of course, if you're equipped to play all regions and PAL, there are several other Spanish/Mexican and Spanish/Cuban movies available on DVD in R2, among them a fine French double bill of Luis Buñuel movies from his "Mexican period" : El and Ensayo de un crimen...

. . . . . .

...well... the Director is Mexican... the movie is a Spanish/Mexican co-production... the story takes place in Spain, during the late 1930s Civil War...

. . . . . .

The Crime of Padre Amaro (El Crimen del padre Amaro) comes out on April 1 and has been nominated for Best Foreign Film Oscar although I have not seen it.

Jodorowsky is from Chile

He made El topo and Holy Mountain in mexico, with mexican actors

I'm not sure about Fando & Lis

Another good movie is Profundo Carmesi, but it is not on dvd or vhs

I am pretty sure Fando y Lis was made in Mexico as well. I haven't checked to confirm though.
