bullet in the head
I was looking for this movie and found there are two different distributers Tai Seng and mega star which one should I get?
What is the video quality like?
I found the mega star for $14 and the Tai Seng for $35.
Why is one so much more than the other?

In general, Tai Seng is a company based in America. They usually license films from foreign distributors and sell them under their Tai Seng name. Usually, their much more expensive version is no better than the much less expensive version.
The above site should provide information about this, and many other Asian DVDs.

The Tai Seng version was just the Megastar version with a Tai Seng sticker on the outside and a much higher price. Tai Seng lost distribution rights on this title as it was aquired by Miram-
Axe. There will be a Deltamac release soon which will probably be coded for regions 3/6 and Hong Kong Legends is still planning an special edition later in the year.

<---- holding out for the HKL version.
(and speaking of different cuts, the one with the original ending is still only on VCD, right?)

The Deltamac and Megastar releases come from the same sources, but generally speaking the compression, overally brightness/contrast levels, etc are generally better on the Deltamac discs. Personally I love the Megastar artwork, but prefer the deltamac discs.
