French Ghosts of Mars with DTS

I found this on dvdzone2.com. Has anyone bought it? Does it have forced subtitles? Is it the kind of forced subs that you can remove anyway? Are there any reviews for this in English?

...and it won't bother you one tiny little bit that the sound will be sped up (helium voices, you know) due to PAL speed-up, DTS be damned?...
...oh... and dvdfr mentions sous-titres français imposés - which translates as 'locked French subtitles'...

I own it and it is a great DVD. However the French subs are forced when you choose the DTS track...
On my Malata N 996 I can't remove them.
Oh and the Pal speed up on the voices can't even be noticed...

I have never in my life noticed PAL Speedup. And I live in PAL-country.
d2cheer: Can you choose "No subs" when the film is playing, so that the menu is set to "no subs" but the subs are still showing I mean. Because if you can, I think I can remove them with my player. I have done so successfully in the past with other discs.

I have tried to turn them off but can't. After awhile you don't notice them anymore...
The Malata doesn't allow me to do that, it just give me an error message when I try and turn them off.
