Question to the French users...CDISCOUNT.COM?
Has anyone shopped with CDISCOUNT? I placed an order with them and this is what I got:
"Dans le cas où un article vous parviendrait en mauvais état,
merci de le renvoyer au siège social dans son emballage d'origine,
accompagné de ce document."
and:
date d'envoi- ?!
I am sorry for asking you this but I have no idea if my order went through and what should I do now......
If you could give an idea what's going on here I WILL FOREVER OWN you!!
Thank you again for your assistance!!

CODE FREE: THANK YOU!! I believe I get the point.
eXcentris:
no its not.......I am simply trying to figure something out and since i do not speak French I decided to ask.
What's wrong if I admit that I do not speak French and ask for help....In my book its better to ask for help as opposed to being sarcastic and pretending that you know what the above mentioned note means.
I am not sure I understand YOUR sarcasm.....but you're entitled to your opinion so.....THANK YOU FOR the PREDICTION!!

pro-bassoonist, now you got it.
codefree's translation is right. And "date d'envoi" is shipping date.

@pro-bassoonist,
what did they charge you for shipping? I was a bit discouraged by their statement that "Les livraisons à l'étranger ne sont pour l'instant pas assurées." (roughly: "international shipments are not ensured for the time being"). Some of their prices are not too bad, though

www.cdiscount.com no longer ship outside of France (and a few places including Corsica I think) since last year.
Last I looked.

pro-bassoonist, to answer the first question: I put an item into the basket, go to checkout and get a form to fill out (French addresses only). On that page (http://www.cdiscount.com/basket2.asp?mscssid=sdgajhg) it says: "ATTENTION : Pas d'expéditions hors France Métropolitaine et Corse" which translates to what Lucas wrote. I don't even get to shipping options or the like ... have you ordered from them before?

No....2 days ago I did place an order...AND THERE IS AN OPTION as to where you wish the package to be shipped. I did pick USA but so far have not gotten any confirmation or anything like that.
I will wait a couple of days and if nothing happens then we'll see.
I so want to get LA FIDELITE (S.Marceau)...where can I get it? Amazon.fr and Cinestore.com are no-go so far!!

for what it's worth, cdiscount is quite possibly the worst etailer I've ever encountered. I placed a huge order with them over a year ago. They never shipped it, never answered my emails and charged my credit card immediately. I eventually got the money back but the whole experience was simply a nightmare.

That does not mean it is the worth etailer. Got loads of cheap DVD thanks to them.
All you need is an address in France.
And BTW never, never, make a "huge" order on the net when you dunno the site.
Especially when shipping is for free.
CDiscount is also a DVD editor. So they buy the master of some titles and make their own DVD pressing (under the brand DVDY).
This is probabiy the case for this title and that's why they sell it for less than $5

no no no no no no....THIS ONE I have to have in perfect condition....Marceau together with Ajani and E.Beart is on the top of my "excellent"- French- actors- list. So, I'd rather find the French disc.
Thank you for YOUR attempt to help me out! I appreciate your effort.
ps.
Ok now.....you all know about Bellucci....she's there too!!!!!

La Fidélité is OOP -but Cdiscount reprint their own DVDs it seems (this is why they limit export perhaps). You can find many many of these reprinted DVDs on Ebay in France at a very low price.
If you placed an order with Cdiscount you would know as you'd have went to a secure credit card page and paid -and received an immediate email.
