I’d have to admit to not liking this film. I saw it on the big screen some years ago, and I found it a rather trying experience.
Why? Well, the film seemed to drag on for an eternity. It was unrelentingly bleak, dull, even monotonous. There were several moments when the whole audience seemed to think (or hope?) that the end was in sight, only to have the film continue off down some other track.
(and remember, this was a film festival going audience, not a collection of joe 6-packs
but ymmv
