Michelle Yeoh's The Touch

Has anyone seen this movie? I adore Michelle and am curious about what kind of film this is. Good or bad, let me know your thoughts before I purchase it!

Cheers

Chuck

was just over at imdb reading a review of this, and gathering from the reviewer's comments I am still 50-50 over this one. Looks like Miramax is slated to release this stateside, of course they could drop it entirely like they did with "Zu Warriors"

I went over and read his review and I guess I'm on the fence with this one as well. Thanks for the info.

Miramax is going to re-edit the film, I beleive. Meanwhile the original cut is out on R0 DVD in Hong Kong.

Its ok not bad, starts off very well but ends poorly as it takes itself too seriously. Cinematography is awesome however.

How is it? In a word... AWFUL! It's among the worst films I've ever seen come out of Hong Kong and that's really saying alot considering how many I've seen. The story is tired and cliche. The fight scenes are simply poorly choreographed rehashes of your standard HK action. The acting is laughably bad and the CGI is some of the worst I've seen in years.

I generally like Michelle Yeoh films but I'd highly recommend staying away from this one. It almost made China Strike Force look good.
