I just noticed We Were Soldiers was released in Region 3 HK in DTS and I was thinking of picking it up.
Just wanted to make sure it's anamorphic or not.

Yes it is indeed 16:9. I'm expecting my order in the next few days.

This title and "Black Hawk Down" (DTS) should also be arriving to my doorsteps soon as well ("Get ready to rumbbbbllleeee")

Received We Were Soldiers today. The disc is anamorphic with removable Chinese subs. The English DTS (754 bitrate) track sounds excellent! All for less about $12 shipped from DDDHouse.

Any extras on the disc?

Watched this disc last night and I gotta say it has the most impressive dts track I can ever recall hearing! Simply amazing! Massive bass during the many explosions too! As for extras, only the U.S. trailer with burnt in Chinese subs and film bios in both Chinese and English.

Can't resist that DTS track and the price.
Order will be sent soon.
I can wait and rent the R2 Japanese version in January if I want to see the extras and that way the wife can watch it also.
