Quality Issues with Region Free DVD players
I have a hacked Apex AD-1000...so I can assume I'm good to go on watching any region DVDs...
BUT I read somewhere and I cannot remember where for sure, that when you try to watch Non Region 1 DVDs that the sound or something will be "a little" off somebody was saying that they had Friends and they could tell the voices were different or something.
Is there any truth to this? I'd like to know before I start buying non region 1 dvds

Try here, here and here [Benedict]

Yeah Hendrik, you do that!
PAL format movies inherently run 4% faster than their NTSC counterparts. Accordingly, the soundtracks of PAL format movies have a higher pitch.
Whether or not this is detectable or bothersome to you is a highly individual thing. My advice: check it out first, and see if it bothers you.
