Is it edited in any way?

As far as I know, the R1 release is the full uncut, unedited widescreen version.
The Hong Kong DVD is presented in open-matt full screen format.

i don't think so, the first time i saw was the hk vcd, and then the us dvd and i don't remeber anything being cut, and i'm sure we would've heard on bullets and babes or asian dvd guide. the commentary track is okay, not that great, but the movie looks and sounds great.
