Grease R1 or R2?
Does anyone know how they are different from each other? I can´t seem to find out anywhere. Is there a pink jacketcover for the R2 one? Is there a songbook with both of them?

At the moment DVD compair seems to be offline (Exceeded bandwidth).
I saw at play.com the zone 2 had a 2.35:1 AR where as the zone 1 is posting a 1.85:1.
Anyway know which is right?
I'm not sure if the zone 2 is released yet, I think its coming out next week. My other question has to do with the sound quality. I've been finding that zone 2 sound has been getting worse and worse on many discs. Its not unfortunate that we have to compair that as well.
So if anyone has any leads on the sound comparisons, that would be great.
By differences i'm not talking about 2.0 vrs 5.1 and things like that. I'm talking about identical specs such as 2.0 vrs 2.0 where the mixing is totally different.
One example is the zone 1 vrs zone 2 of Free Enterprise. The zone 2 track is destroyed. Completely unlistenable. Muddy sound, dull, ... same for the zone 2 of Young Frankenstein. Sounds like the voices are being projected from a box 20 miles away.
For these reason I*ve started to lean towards zone 1 purchases again.
ADDED LATER:
I think the specs of the zone 1 on play.com are incorrect. I'm seeing 2.35:1 posted on other websites and the IMDB does say thats the correct OAR.

I just ordered the R4 version from Ezy DVD to escape from the absolute POS packaging that the R1 release will use. I confirmed with EzyDVD's customer service before ordering that their R4 version will ship with a keepcase.

VHS copy is 2.35:1. So your followup is correct.
