JVC S500 Region Free - Help Needed!!

Hi

I got my JVC S500 Region Free Player today but there were no instructions how to change the region.
Can somebody please help me and let me know how to change the region??

Thanks,
Dirk

This may be a stupid question, but is it already hacked so it can play all regions out of the box?

With the player in the standby mode, press the number of the region you want on the remote and then press Enter. The player will turn on and you'll see the region info displayed on the dvd player. It will then turn off and on and you'll be set. If the dvd's display doesn't show the correct region number when it turns on, do it again after it finishes.

Thank you very much. I think they forgot to add the instructions.
It works fine and my Region 2 DVDs are looking great.
I tried everything to make it work last night, well almost everything but it works the way you said.

Thanks,
Dirk
