Kurosawa: A Documentary
Anyone know anything about this documentary? Subscribers to the DVD Talk newsletter are getting a chance to order this at HKFlix.com for $15.50. It's about three hours long and originally aired on PBS, but I'd like to know if it's any good.

Thanks a lot. I did a search before posting but only in the International DVD section. Based on people's comments, it looks like a good buy. Subscribe to the DVD Talk newsletter for Special Offers if you want to be advised about deals like this...

I've got to say I was really disappointed in this docomentary. It's like the maker was trying to make an art film out the thing. There was a decent amount of material, but with all the recreations from his life and video of him just sitting there. It also didn't really cover all his films and just had me wanting more.
