I read that the May double feature releases (which are kinda' weak) were-
FISTFUL OF TALONS/MILITANT EAGLE
EAGLE CLAW CHAMPION/COBRA VS. NINJA
ONE FOOT CRANE/SCORPION THUNDERBOLT
7 STAR MANTIS/DRAGON KID
MAGIC CRANE/RIVALS OF THE DRAGON

... but if that scheldule is true (and with GZ you never know) there are some good releases, especailly on the cheapie double feature front.

I know I'vbe been longing for copies of the weirdo features like Chang Cheh's Attack of the God of Joy and Billy Chong's Kung Fu From Beyond the Grave. I'm also hoping that Monkey Kung Fu is the aka. Stroke of Death one.

The GZ schedule I culled from lists your five May releases as being April releases, so I didn't include them. But they're on there!

I think KUNG FU FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE sounds like a must-have, just off title alone, but I have never seen it. Is MONKEY KUNG-FU the same thing as MAD MONKEY KUNG-FU, or something else entirely?

Yeah, Kung Fu from Beyond the grave was a Billy Chong ultra cheap knockoff (well all his films were knockoffs) trying to capatalize on Sammo Hungs Encounters of the Spooky Kind. I havent seen it, but its supossed to be good cheesball, so-bad-its good, fun. I've had trouble getting my hands on a non-expensive overpriced collectors vhs, so if GZ is doing it as part of a cheapie double feature- hooray for me!

Mad Monkey Kung Fu is a classic Lui Chai Liang, Shaw Brothers film. There is also a 1980 film, commonly called Stroke of Death but sometimes also known as Monkey Kung Fu). But years before in the early-mid 70's film there was already a film known as Monkey Kung Fu (aka Monkey Fist, Floating Snake) Aside from the similar titles they are completley different. I much prefer Stroke of Death and have been waiting for it on DVD.
