X-Box PAL playback

I've been reading about the X-Box DVD player being able to play Region 0 PAL DVDs, and since I have an X-Box I'd like to know more about it. Has anyone tried to use the region-x key (or whatever it's called) that is supposed to enable the X-Box to play all region DVDs? Is it even out yet? Any info in regards to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

AFAIK it has no problem with PAL conversion if it's a R0 disk, but I haven't actually tried it yet. There were threads on this in the past though -- here, in the hardware forum and in the videogame forum, so you may want to do a search for it.

quite a few, but not all of them. It really depends. For a good listing (ie. check out the movie from a list and it will tell you the specs), try www.asiandvdguide.com

there are also some movies that are listed R3, but are actually R0. It really depends.
