Has anyone seen "The Devil's Backbone"?

I was thinking of ordering this one next week. It's being released in region 2. I've read some reviews but don't know anyone who has actually seen it.....

I saw it at the theater a couple months ago.

The movie is a ghost story set at a remote Spanish orphanage during the Spanish civil war of the 1930s. Mild spoiler and parental warning:
Spoiler:
The movie takes a gory turn during the second hour and is not recommended for small children.

Although I liked the movie, I haven't decided if it's purchase worthy yet.

I've seen it. It's pretty good but it isn't really scary. I would get the DVD if it's reasonably priced, after all it is Del Toro and he's interesting and original at the least.

I saw it in the theater too, and it was an okay, entertaining, well visualized/directed movie... BUT... The story, scares, and suspense were extremely mild, so I'm in no rush to own it.
