Star Trek TNG box sets at amazon.de
Heya!
Just found the box sets being offered at amazon.de (they differ in packaging from the US sites ones)
http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASI...949295-7124820
(if you decide to order there, there's some language help right here... I needed it, too
):
http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/tg/...475979-4749351
Each season comes in a plastic amaray-case with a coined STAR TREK-logo on the front and back and each season has its own guidance colour.
Audio of course includes English in Dolby 5.1
These are code 2 dvds, so a region code free player would help

Looks like if you buy the first 6 seasons from Amazon.de you get the 7th season for free!
It could be a better deal than the US sets if you work out the math. While the packaging of the R2 sets is cooler than the R1 sets, I think I might stick with R1 so I can play it on any DVD player.

Hey Brett!
Yah, that deal they've got going there about the seventh box for free is pretty cool, I think.
And the region code stuff is just plain annoying. Luckily I have a region free player myself but still...
you go visit a friend to watch a dvd together and turns out you can't 'cos he/she doesn't have a region free player, argh.
I'd love to see a bit of "globalization" happen on that subject
...
Take care,
