Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me French R2 Specs

I found this information a while back at www.darkhorizons.com a while back and was surprised no one had posted it:

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (DVD): Good news for David Lynch fans, especially for Europeans or those who just LOVE to import (and can play PAL). Moviehole reports that the Region 2 French DVD version of the movie-followup to the TP series WILL contain the deleted scenes that are not in the upcoming US R1 edition (despite months of arguments and pressure to include them). The company MK2 is responsible for the R2 inclusion, they've been working on the disc for some time and have satisfied everyone in regards to film rights and usage over the footage. Its still early stages though with the disc not due out till September. Thanks to 'Clint'.

Has anyone else got more info on this release, it would be nice to know.

Hey thank's for the info. I think I'll wait to see if this comes true before buying the US release.

Thanks to codefree for the link. On this particular occasion I think a thread that happens to echoi a topic already raised on the Main Forum can stay open as, after all, it is on-topic here

Ditto. Waiting till September isn't a problem at all. I've waited far longer for other DVD releases.
