Korean DVDs
Hi Guys
Do you know the street price of Korean DVDs eg Shiri Bichunmoo if I buy from the shops in Seoul ? I will compare this against ordering online. Prices online are 20-25 USD before shipping.
It will be great if you know the prices in KRW. Opps before I forget where are the popular shops in Seoul. I have friends that travel to Korea frequently.
Thanks

Korean DVD's
Hi.....I can help you with these questions as I live in Seoul...
First, the price of a regular DVD in Korea is between 16,000 won to 30,000 won depending on the title....The releases of Korean films that you mention are usually around the 25, 000 won mark.
I usually go to Yongsan electronics market, or Technomart to but mine and they are usually cheaper than at regular stores (but they charge me a little more than my Korean friends because I am a foreigner!!)They have a wide range of VCD and DVD....
DVD"s are fairly easy to pick up here..Even the supermarket round the corner has a good selection and my local video store rents them out too......
