Hey all,

I really have been meaning to pick up Gen-X cops (shame on me for not picking up this great pic sooner). Anyways, a local shop here has the Region 1 (Sony I think) version on sale for like 26 bones Canadian. I know dddhouse and hivi both sell the universe version for 5 bucks US plus shipping.

I'm not really concerned with price and special features. I want to know which version has the better picture and sound ?? Anyone out there see both versions ?? Is the cantonese track on teh Sony version that same as the Universe version ??

i prefer the HK dvd as it has more extras and an english subtitled commentary. the Columbia dvd uses dubtitles but also has an english dub and is also anamorphic i believe.

the dubtitles suck major @$$ but the 16x9 transfer is better. It also has deleted scenes and teaser and making of documentary w/subs.
