Trailers: International or US?

Hey all,

Was just wondering if some of you could answer a question for me...

When a dvd comes out in other countries, which trailer is included? Do they include the international trailer that was originally shown in whichever country the dvd is released in? Or do they show the American release trailer? Obviously this might be a case by case basis...but I was just wondering what the usual practice is.

My experiences have been that usually the American trailers are included, unless the film did not originate from the US, or that the names were changed for overseas release.
