German 2 Disc Fifth Element still available??

I went to Amazon.de today and using Babelfish couldn't figure out again if it was the two disc version or not. Also, there was something on there about an aluminum tin for Terminator 2, not pictured. Has anyone seen what their version looks like? I really want this Fifth Element, one of my favorite movies of all time, I previously was stumped by the translation, but was willing to try again, as I really want this! Any information would be great!

...you realize, don't you, that this particular SE features only a German-dubbed dts soundtrack?! The English soundtrack is 'plain vanilla' DD 5.1...

No, I didn't realize. I have no understanding of German at all. I just wanted to see what the case would look like. I also thank you for the link, but can't get babelfish to translate it for me. I cannot navigate and checkout! Dangit!

Hendrik,

You'd want to edit those links (at least the first one) as they are linked to your account with all your info...

So how many Special editions of The Fifth Element are there, cause my copy has a English DTS track.

...well... in that case you must have the just-released Neuauflage ('new edition') of Das fünfte Element which does indeed feature (half-bit-rate!) German and English dts soundtracks...

...however... one reviewer claims that the sound is, like, WOW!... but the picture suffers...

"Neuauflage mit schlechtem Bild!
Hi!
"

...meanwhile, Terminator 2-in-a-tin still only features one dts soundtrack: the German dub... the English track is DD 5.1...

...please don't kill the messenger!...

Well it might be due to the PAl-NTSC conversion, but the aspect ratio is wrong. The image fills more of the screen on a 4:3 monitor than previous dvd editions. What I really like about the new edition is that you can change from the movie to mini docus during the course of the film.
