VERSUS Region 0 DVD....

A wild mix of Evil Dead, Street Fighter and The Matrix. An insane zombie / yakuza / samurai / kung fu / splatter film tell the story of the worlds 666 portals to the other side. The 444th gateway is Japan and is called the forest of resurrection where good has battled evil for time immemorial. The film opens with prisoner KSC2-303 and his cellmate escaping a prison and ending up in the forest where they are supposedly to be picked up by a band of gangsters and taken to a safer place. Instead a gunfight ensues killing KSC2-303's colleague and a mob boss, but just as the stand-off is about to yield more violence, an odd thing happens — the dead get up and attack the living. Amazing stunt work, machine guns and bloody disembowelments ensue. One of the most talked about films of the year.

While I must say the actual quality of the DVD varies to OK to poor it is a pretty cool flick. Anyone else own this? Any chance of a better release coming out?

Considering that this DVD is a bootleg, yes there should be a better DVD coming out.

If anyone has evidence to show that Jay G is mistaken, please email me and I'll re-open the thread as soon as time allows. Otherwise, it would seem that we are in danger of discussing that which is specifically precluded here i.e. bootlegs.
