R2 In the Mood for Love LE Problem Thread
Anyone have problems with playback?
I won't be getting a suitable dvd player to play it until next summer, so I'm wondering if anyone had problems with the dvds, either in the U.S. or anywhere else.
Seems like that one person had a problem with one of the dvds in some other thread.

It would be great if replies would include the make and model of their players.

...have watched the movie and the extras twice, once using my stand-alone player (All-Region DENON DVD-2000, bought February 1997) and once using my portable (All-Region PANASONIC DVD-P10, bought December 1997)... no problems playing this set on either machine...

I have a Sampo 620 for my region free playing. I had no problems with Disc 1, but
it would not recognize Disc 2 at all. Nada, nothing, 'No Disc'. I thought it might
be my player or that the extra disc was somehow different than Disc 1. Can anyone
check this out somehow? I've had no problems on any other R2 or R3 discs, it
figures doesn't it.
I did have to do some weird contortions to play my only other
French disc, though. See my Mylene Farmer video thread for details.

If it is a bad disc, I wonder if it's too late to get a replacement (from amazon.fr)?

Just tried the supplement disc on my Malata and it works fine... had to switch to region 2, but it worked great. It's an awesome disc too - it's in many languages both audio and subtitles so yay! I hadn't tried to watch it yet, but from what I saw it looks really cool and I'll have to get to it sometime soon.
Sorry it doesn't work for some of you folks.
