Jackie Chan Eastern Heroes DVDs
I noticed a few of Jackie's earlier films are being released in Region 2 this month and next:
9/17 - Snake and Crane Arts of Shaolin (Fullscreen, English)
10/8 - Spiritual Kung Fu (16:9, English)
10/22 - Shaolin Chamber of Death - Special Edition (16:9, English)
10/22 - To Kill With Intrigue - Special Edition (16:9, English)
Has anyone purchased an Eastern Heroes Ltd. DVD before? If so, how is the quality? I'm bummed that these will be available in English dubs only, but at least they're anamorphic. I'm not sure why Snake & Crane is fullscreen, though.

STOP! NONE of these are 16x9! They are the cropped transfers, with black bars on the top and bottom, cropping even MORE picture! This has been confirmed!
So you have a cropped transfer that is cropped again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I think the BBB should be contacted about this kind of sh*t.
