Definitely Five Star Laser. It's in San Gabriel, not far from where you'll be.

http://www.fivestarlaser.com for the address.

Also, check out the hole-in-the-wall vendors around ChinaTown.

thx braintex, ill check it out...

i called them though and they will not be willing to negotiate in price, i would rather buy from a physical store, but if i cant get much of a deal I'll buy it from DDDHOUSe.com

anyone else know any place out there???

No prob . . .

FiveStarLaser also has a store in San Gabriel. Check them out if you're in the area. They have a descent selection of DVD's, VCD's, soundtracks, etc.

quite frankly there isn't going to be any place in the U.S. that'll approach the prices in HK (unless we're talking bootlegs). You can thank Taiseng for much of that. If you're purely a value person like myself, the only reasons to go are to either browse/research, look for obscure titles that the mainstream stores in HK wouldn't carry, or if you wanted a title like if there was no tomorrow.
