Trigger

I watched the trailer for this and it looks awesome... it looks like one of the old Spielberg films like E.T. or the clones of such films - Batteries Not Included* etc... So has anyone seen this? Is it really good? Could you guys fill me in on what Japanese cinema I should be taking in besides Anime? I picked up Brother from DDDHouse which should be here this week and I have Parasite Eve and Evil Dead Trap and The Tetsuo films... What else is good?
