Chungking Express
I have all three on LD. CE, I have also on vcd. The vcd has both Chinese and English subs.
It's been a while since I've screened it, but I don't recall having problems with the vcd.
So no worries on this title.

I rewatched both the LD and vcd this weekend. The vcd is the HK cut of 98 minutes,
the LD is the International cut of 104 minutes. The longer cut has more
scenes of the Indian drug smuggling preparations and the kidnap of the little
girl. Other brief snippets are cut from the second story. Actually, the HK cut works
better, except you miss a little more Brigitte Lin. The colors are a little faded
on the vcd compared to the LD. The vcd is on the Ocean Shores label so probably
the same as the DVD. Check asiandvdguide.com for more info on the DVD.
