i'm trying to find the best dvd of the movie Deceiver, any region, pal or ntsc. it stars tim roth, renee zellweger, directed by joshua and jonas pate.

i found one at dvdgo.com, a spanish one they call it "el impostor". any one have this and know if it's good. i've also seen one, a french release i think, called liar, but i beleive it's out of print or impossible to find. i heard that on the french release, if you watch it in english, the french subs stay on the whole time. does any one know if the spanish one is like that.

also if any one know of any other relases, please let me know. looking for the best dvd out there, hopefully 16x9 enhanced too.

I've always loved this movie as well, and I have located a japanese region 2 ntsc version (for some reason I've always searched using 'deciever' never its true and international name 'Lair'.)

It is in English and Japanese 2.0
It is anamorphic
Cinemascope (so its in is proper oar)
Trailers and some other extras

4,800 yen at amazon.co.jp (I recently order two discs from them and they are usual amazon excellence...I think that is around $40 some bucks)
