The Making Of: Legend Of ZU

There's an online store that has "The Making Of: Legend Of ZU" on VCD. I'm anxiously awaiting the release of "Legend of ZU", and thought this would be nice to have. Has anyone seen this? Is it worth getting? Let me know. Thanks.

Must be heavy traffic - it was too choppy to watch. I got sound, but picture was bad - much like the Shaolin Soccer trailer. Thanks for posting - perhaps I'll try at a different time of day. What I saw looked cool.

That site had a trailer for a US horror film called Flashback - never heard of it. Anyone?

Plays smooth as silk for me, but then again I'm on a cable modem. Where it says Windows media 28k you can pull down the menu to get the 300k feed.

I'm also on cable and I used the 300K feed. I tried it several times too. Wierd.

That is weird. You may want to check your Baud rate, the problem may be at your end.

96Kbps while downloading the Zu trailer. Almost as fast as a T1 line. Faster according to some speed tests. Tried the trailer again today and it was still choppy. I've downloaded the one off the french site and ... it worked great. Thanks. This movie looks like it's gonna be awesome. Effects look like the same company that did Man Called Hero... still looks wild though. I'm excited.

I don't think Centro (the CGI and SFX company behind the Stormriders and Man Called Hero) are doing the visual effects for Zu. I'd imagine it to be inhouse. Film Workshop most probably (be the same effects house to Mr Q 2001).

I figured as much - I was just saying that they looked similar.

no, it's not worth getting. Basically it's just about the making of the film, with behind the scenes footage, interviews, and using CGI in the film etc.

Better wait for the DVD, which will include the making of anyway. Don't waste your money.

HK DVDs come out fairly quickly, because they want to combat piracy.

Yeah but you get the hologram card

of Cecilia Cheung as Dawn(?) and the four metal(?) doodads of the
main characters. Plus the cheap chain. Okay, so the 18+ minute
video wasn't that much but I gotta rationalize my purchase.
I'm guessing there are other versions of the hologram card with the other
3 characters.

yeah, I guess I'll skip "The Making Of" and get the actual movie. Do any of you guys know when it will be released on DVD?
